Where are extensions saved?

Questions

We downloaded an extension from magento connect called sitelogin.  It basically forces any user to our site to login before viewing anything.  Our question is where are extensions loaded on the backend? We want to change the wording of the sitelogin a little bit to reflect the name of our site etc.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

    Hi

Magento connect downloads the package to yourmagentoinstallfolder/downloader/pearlib/download/

in here you should have the downloaded package and an unzipped package

By going through the unzipped package you can see which files were added to which folders.

This should give you some clue on where to start.

    Hi Again,

I would imagine the files to edit the sitelogin module direct once installed would be in your

    app/design/frontend/default/default/template/sitelogin folder
