URL rewrite save problem.

   Hi unformatik,

   What is the error you’re getting? And at what point do you get the error? (like, when you click Add New Product, or when you try to save?) And what does this have to do with URL rewrites?

   when you try to save.
   the rewrite rules are active on my server

     What error are you getting? Does it give you an error in a popup or on it’s own page? Or do you just get the orange spinning wheel that doesn’t go away? Or does the save button not do anything?

   Hi, i think the problem was solved! please visit this forum link
   “I had URL Rewrite rules that existed for products that weren’t created yet, so when trying to save a new product or duplicate a product, and a URL Rewrite Rule already existed for that product entity id that was about to be created, the “url rewrie save problem” error came up.

   Maybe try confirming under “Catalog > Url Rewrite Management” that there aren’t any rewrite rules for product’s that don’t even exist. If there are, delete the rewrite rules, then try to create / duplicate a product again. “
