How do you Exlude Free Shipping from items purchased with Discount Code?

Questions

Example:

1. Current Shipping Promotion = Free Shipping for Orders for over $200.
This is setup through Configuration/Shipping Methods/Free Shipping

2. Friends and Family Discount Code gives 25% off entire order

We can’t afford to offer both a 25% discount and Free Shipping to those who take advantage of the Friends and Familly discount. So, if an order exceeds $200 with discount, we do not want to offer the option of Free Shipping.

Thoughts on achieving this?

    I think the easiest way to accomplish this is to set your free shipping to be a promotion as well then set your 25% off to a higher priority and set it to stop processing further rules. This will stop it from hitting the free shipping promo.
